Accessibility Statement

Last updated: March 2026

Our Commitment

At sallyGutteridge.com, I am committed to making this website accessible to everyone, including people with disabilities. I believe that knowledge about dog behaviour and wellbeing should be available to all, and I want every visitor to be able to navigate, read, and purchase content on this site with ease.

What This Site Offers

This website sells digital ebooks and webinars related to dog behaviour, welfare, and the Dog Resilience Method. Content is delivered digitally following purchase.

How Accessible This Site Is

I aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA. The following features support accessibility across the site.

Navigation and structure: The site uses clear heading structures to help screen readers and assistive technologies navigate content logically. Links are descriptive and indicate where they lead.

Text and readability: Text is written in plain, straightforward language. Font sizes can be adjusted using your browser settings without loss of content or functionality.

Images:  Where images are used, I aim to include descriptive alternative text so that screen reader users receive the same information as sighted visitors.

Colour and contrast: I aim to maintain sufficient colour contrast between text and backgrounds to support visitors with visual impairments or colour blindness.

Keyboard navigation: The site can be navigated using a keyboard without requiring a mouse.

Digital Products

Ebooks are delivered in PDF and ebook format. PDFs vary in their accessibility depending on how they were produced. I am working to ensure that ebooks are structured with headings, readable fonts, and alt text where images are included. If you need an ebook in an alternative format, please contact me directly and I will do my best to help.

Webinars are hosted via video platform. Where possible, I aim to provide captions or transcripts. If a webinar you have purchased does not currently include captions and you require them, please get in touch.

Known Limitations

I run this website as an independent author and behaviour practitioner, and some areas may not yet fully meet accessibility standards. I am continually working to improve the experience. Current known limitations include older PDF ebooks that may not be fully tagged for screen reader compatibility, and embedded video content that may not always include captions. I take these gaps seriously and am actively working to address them.

What to Do If You Experience Difficulties

If you encounter any barrier on this site, or if you need content in a different format, please contact me at sally@sallygutteridge.com with the subject line Accessibility Request. I will respond within five working days and do my best to provide the information or content you need in a way that works for you.

Enforcement

If you are not satisfied with my response, you can contact the Equality and Human Rights Commission (EHRC), which enforces the Equality Act 2010 in Great Britain, at www.equalityhumanrights.com.

This statement was written in good faith by Sally Gutteridge and will be reviewed and updated regularly.
